About
I am currently a teaching assistant at University of Leeds, UK. Previously, I obtained my PhD from the University of Leicester, UK under the supervision of Professor Alex Clark, in Topological Dynamics. The broad area of my current research is Dynamical Systems, with a preference of symbolic substitution systems.

Current Interests
I am currently looking at the Ellis semigroup, and ways in which its structure can be exploited to gather more information about its dynamical system. More broadly, I am interested in Symbolic Dynamics, as well as most things concerned with the Stone-Czech compactification of the natural numbers.
I have worked in Set Theoretic Topology and continue to do so in my free time, mostly in separation axioms and covering properties. For some materials that have come out of these musings, please see this page. For some papers, please see here, here, and here.

Think you know me from somewhere?
Please see the places I have been if you think we've talked mathematics at a conference or similar. (currently not up-to-date)

Why "They do it with ultrafilters?"
This website's name is supposed to be a pun on A. Christie's 'They do it with mirrors'.
